Integrated Fire Services is celebrating 27 years

The founder Paul Verheijden started Integrated Fire Services after leaving a major engineering consulting firm to assist installers with design of fire sprinkler systems, special suppression systems and fire detection.

This developed into providing designs and specifications for a number of larger multi-disciplinary consulting companies while building up a client base of developers, builders and building owners and managers.

Design services increased in scope and complexity and included high profile project such as the Melbourne Conference Centre and Don KRC.

When the discipline of fire safety engineering started to evolve into a recognised Engineering discipline Paul went back to university to obtain a post graduate diploma in fire safety and became registered as a Fire Safety Engineer.

As clients began to see the benefits of Alternative Solutions the work multiplied and staff numbers increased. Employees developed experience in both fire safety and fire protection. A vast library of solutions was developed to assist clients get the best fit fire safety strategy.

The company now as a mix of senior engineers, project managers, and experienced designers to draw on when providing design an advise in fire safety matters.
